random access memory, or direct memory access (in English: Random Access Memory, RAM acronym), or better known as RAM, is composed of one or more chips and used as working memory for programs and datos.Es a type of temporary memory that loses its data when out of energy (eg by turning off the computer), so it is a volatile memory. This is true from the theoretical point of view: Scientists from Princeton University have discovered that there is a gradual destruction of data stored in RAM ranging from a few seconds to several minutes, being inversely proportional to temperature. This could mean a security breach while the access key information such as BitLocker ciphers are stored in RAM.
